Post 3 Free: My Career



It was a difficult decision. I did not know what to study. I liked many subjects, but not enough to study it. Without a concrete idea of ​​what I should study I entered the Programa Académico de Bachillerato. Going through Bachillerato was really hard, I cried and I doubted if I could really get out of there or if I could choose a career that I liked enough, so I went from the scientific Bachillerato to a humanist Bachillerato.
Thanks to conversations with students of different careers. Thanks to the Tutorías space where all the tutors I spoke with were psychologists and many personal questions, I finally decided to study psychology. 
There are different approaches in psychology. From a more scientific and research perspective as cognitive neuroscience, to more social spaces such as community psychology, social psychology and many other areas of application. So there is still a lot to decide.
My two older sisters study at the University of Chile, and since high school, I heard about the prestige of this University, it was always my only option, I never thought of studying anywhere else.

    Oof, sincerely it's very dificult to choose a career, I think that is one of the most hard decision in our lives, but i'm glad for you for choosing a career finally. I was between two careers and I decided to study psychology at the last moment, 'cause I never thought to get in 'Bachillerato' jeje. Congrats!

POST 9 : Changes to my study programme

The Juan Gómez Millas campus of the University of Chile is a large place, with different faculties, there is FACSO, the Faculty of Social Sciences. I think the most obvious problem here is the lack of space. More classrooms are always needed, there are more and more students! For this reason, casinos are usually full. Libraries are also always full, as are study halls, tables, and computers, especially by the end of the semester. We also need more computers. For example, for statistics, more computers are always required for all students who take that subject. Although, for the rest of the subjects does not need much technology. But even all the rooms have a projector and a computer - maybe not the latest technology, but equally useful-.
